Joseph Guinn M.D.
Doctor Guinn was born in Galveston and graduated from Austin College. After his graduate studies in neuroscience at Texas Christian University he attended medical school at medical college of Pennsylvania. Following his internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch, he completed his general surgery residency at Saint Mary's Hospital and at Western Reserve Case System where he became a chief resident. He later performed his vascular fellowship at Loma Linda University. He is a member of the American Medical Association and has been in practice in the metroplex since 1993. Currently Dr Guinn holds a position as an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the department of surgery at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and also as an associate director at Plaza General surgical residency program.
Dr. Guinn places a strong emphasis on patient education and takes his time while offering his patients clear explanations on the details of a diagnosis and treatment plan. The state of the art outpatient surgical facility is not only convenient it also offers the latest in medical technology and minimally invasive techniques.
Dr Guinn is proud to be the first vascular surgeon to bring the TCAR procedure to the Fort Worth medical community.
